Troop Registration Procedures

As of June 2012, GSCCC is using on-line registration for Girl Scout Membership. Click here to get started on Registration. Each person who registers must first establish an eBiz account—each girl and each adult must have their own account.  Once an account is established, and a login id and password have been created, all membership and Council event registration can be completed via the eBiz account.  This can be done by each family individually or by a troop leader who registers everyone for the troop.

If you plan to use Troop Management to register the girls/adults in your troop, you will have to request 01 access for the volunteer(s) in charge of this.  In our Service Unit, the leader who is the main troop contact is the 01 position code and all other leaders are 02.  With Council, your troop can have more than one 01.  All those with 01 access can use Troop Management to register girls/adults with the Girl Scout organization or register for Council events.  You want to make sure only those who need this access obtain it. Contact Council Membership Staff to obtain access.

Please follow these Costa de Oro Service Unit troop registration procedures:

1.  Have each girl’s family complete the Girl Registration through eBiz or you can have a leader re-register her using Troop Management via eBiz.  Girls must be registered before they participate in troop meetings, product sales or any other Girl Scout activity.  Annual Membership dues are $12.00 per member. (Please note: dues will increase to $15 for the 2013-2014 Girl Scout year)  On-line registration requires Credit Card or Debit Card payment.  Cookie Credits can be redeemed by requesting reimbursement from council for personal Credit Card payments.  Financial Assistance requests require a paper form.  Indicate full or partial Financial Assistance requests by writing “FA” in the top right side of the form and the amount of aid requested.

2.  Have each adult who wants to join Girl Scouts complete the Adult Registration through eBiz or you can have a leader re-register them using Troop Management via eBiz.  Adults who must register are: Leaders/Co-Leaders/Advisors, volunteers handling troop funds or are signers on your troop bank account, volunteers serving as your Fall Product Sales Chair or Cookie Chair, and volunteers serving as your Outdoor Trained Adult.  You may want to register additional adults who help at troop meetings/activities or participate as field trip drivers.  Annual Membership dues are $12.00 per member. (Please note: dues will increase to $15 for the 2013-2014 Girl Scout year) See payment options in number 1 above.

3.  If you have any questions or are unable to use eBiz successfully, contact our Service Unit Registrar for help.
