Pathways
There are so many things to do in Girl Scouts! Every girl is welcome, and girls can join at any time of the year. Girl Scouts offers different, flexible ways to join and participate, called Pathways.
The primary way to participate is in a Girl Scout Troop. If you would like to find out more about registering in Girl Scouts, contact us. If you would like to be a Girl Scout Leader and form a new troop, contact SU Leader.
Girls can participate by simply registering for Council-run events or series meetings. Girls must be currently registered with Girl Scouts to participate. For Events, visit the Council web site. For the four-to eight-session Series meetings that are built around a theme, visit the Council web site.
Some girls prefer to participate in Girl Scouts as an individual, rather than as part of a troop. This is the Juliette pathway. Each Juliette needs an adult Advisor who completes the same steps as a Leader but works just with her Juliette to guide her in earning insignia and awards, attend events, and participate in product sales. The Costa de Oro Service Unit holds an annual week-long summer Day Camp. Some girls only participate in Girl Scouts by attending our camp. To learn more about Day Camp, click here.
