Costa de Oro Service Unit offers several fun Girl Scout Events/Activities that promote leadership and girls of courage, confidence and character.

Service Unit Meetings
Our Service Unit Meetings are held at Community Covenant Church (5070 Cathedral Oaks Road) on the second Wednesday of every month from September through May, with socializing beginning at 6:45 p.m., the meeting beginning at 7:15 and ending at 8:30 p.m.
Each meeting will have a Best Practice/Tool Kit Moment for our leaders with topics of interest that will strengthen the delivery of the Girl Scout Program to your Girl Scout troop. It is important that your troop have a representative at each and every SU meeting. All leaders and co-leaders are welcome but you can send a troop parent in your place.
Service Unit Meeting list of discussed topics will be posted after the meeting.
GIRL SCOUT POSITIONS
ALL GIRL SCOUT POSITIONS ARE ONE-YEAR POSITIONS Troop Leaders, Assistant Leaders, etc., must visit eBiz once a year and update your position code(s).
* Log in
* Click your name in white at the top
* Scroll down to the "How I Participate" section
* Click "Add Volunteer Roles" and follow the steps to add each of your Girl Scout positions for this year
* Your position(s) will be in "pending" status until council has confirmed your online backround check approval.
* Once confirmed, your position(s) will become active and you will be able to see your troop(s).

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED for PROGRAM ADVISORY TEAMS Interested in joining a fun group of fellow volunteers, who love girl-led,
engaging, fun and local program activities? Please consider serving on a regional Program Advisory Team. Parents, leaders, and older girls are
invited to join. Meetings will be held alternately in person and via
conference call once a month. Please send your interest to [email protected].
JOIN THE DAISY CHAIN! New Daisy leaders will receive a starter packet with easy instructions for
the first four meetings. Ask Membership Managers or Service Unit
Managers about the starter kit. When the packet is completed, new Daisy Troops will receive one Journey book of their choice.

GETTING STARTED ORIENTATION
Getting Started Orientation is live training offered as need. Contact Charlene Garfinkle ([email protected]) to schedule this initial training needed for new troop leaders, co-leaders and Juliette advisors.
EBIZ REGISTRATION
NEW eBIZ REGISTRATION All user names and passwords must be reset as part of the online registration system upgrade to a new family-based registration system. Most users can follow the easy online directions to reset. eBiz Help Desk hours have been extended through the month of October for those who need assistance:
